Arlie "Marvin" Jarrett

Arlie “Marvin” Jarrett, 85 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Tuesday morning, May 9, 2023 at Lee House of Eldon, Missouri.  He was born June 27, 1937 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, the son of the late Victor and Sylvia (Flaugher) Jarrett.  On January 16, 1953 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Juanita “JoAnn” (Simpson) Jarrett who preceded him in death on November 2, 2019.

Survivors include,

Daughter & Son in law, Debbie Davis (Barry) of Lake Ozark, MO

Three Grandchildren, Lindsey Willow of KS; Dereck Davis (Chelesa) of IA; Dustin Davis (Jessie) of Wardsville, MO

Six Great Grandchildren, Kingston and Harper Davis; Ashley, Lexi, Desiree and Brice Willow

Siblings, Archie Milton Jarrett (Bonnie) of Jefferson City, MO; Linda Austin (B.A.) of Springfield, MO; Morris Jarrett (Mary) of Neosho, MO; Lila Schulte (Danny) Eldon, MO; Dianah Lichtenberg (Mel) of Davenport, FL

A half sister and brother in law, Virginia & Claude Staggs preceded him in death.

Arlie was a charter member of Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO and later a member of Capitol West Christian Church of Jefferson City, MO.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with B.A. Austin, Minister officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO.
