Archie Milton Jarrett, age 92, of Jefferson City, died on September 1, 2025 at Heisinger Bluffs West. He was born on May 2, 1933, in Tuscumbia, MO, the son of the late Victor and Sylvia (Flaugher) Jarrett.
Mr. Jarrett was married on November 4, 1955, in Eldon, MO to Eleanor Wilson, who proceeded him in death. He was married on December 20, 2008, at Capital City Christian Church, Jefferson City, MO, to Bonnie Hannah, who survives of the home.
He was a 1950 graduate of Eldon High School, and served in the U.S. Navy 1951-1955.
He was employed with Uregas and retired in 1992, from Ameren UE. He is a member of Capital West Christian Church.
He is survived by two sons: Terry Jarrett (wife Joan) of Jefferson City and Greg Jarrett (wife Juanita) of Eldon. Other survivors include: 7 grandchildren; Seth Jarrett (wife Mallory), Sarah Cusworth (husband Brian), Blaine Jarrett (wife Brittney), Annie Jarrett, Bryce Jarrett, Luke Jarrett and Emma Jarrett. One brother Morris Jarrett (wife Mary) of Neosho; three sisters: Linda Austin (husband B.A.) of Joplin, Lila Schulte (husband Danny) of Eldon and Dinah Lichtenberg (husband Mel) of Florida; as well as 5 great grandchildren.
In addition, he is survived by two step-daughters: Lisa Haynes (husband David) of Chesterfield; and Christina Dudenhoeffer (husband Keith) of Jefferson City. Three step-grandchildren: Jordan and Kylie Haynes and Ashley Dudenhoeffer.
Preceded him in death: daughter Janet Jarrett, brother Marvin Jarrett (wife JoAnn) and sister Virginia Staggs (husband Claude).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home, 5 Oak St., Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM with interment in the Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, MO. Rick Yoder, Minister of the Highway 54 Church of Christ, will conduct the services with Full Military Honors provided.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the Eldon Cemetery, in Eldon, MO.
