Tom Herx

Tom Herx, 74, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in St. Anthony, Missouri the son of the late Lawrence and Josephine (Buechter) Herx.  On September 7, 2002 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mary A. (Moutray) Bailey Herx who survives of the home.

His first wife, Nancy (Clark) Herx, one daughter, Michelle Lynn Herx, one step-grandchild, two brothers, Don Herx & Ralph Herx, and a sister Genevieve Voss preceded him in death.

Tom was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO.  He was a logger all of his life, owning T.J. Herx & Sons Logging Company.  Tom loved to farm and was an avid hunter, but his greatest enjoyments came from spending time with his family. 

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with Rev. Alex Gabriel officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in St. Anthony, MO.
