TSgt Bobby (Bob) F. Burnham

TSgt Bobby (Bob) F. Burnham, USAF (ret), 86, of Eldon, MO passed away on July 19, 2019 at Oak Tree Villas in Jefferson City, MO. He was born May 11, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to Berry Frank and Alberta Estelle (Hagans) Burnham. 

He married Livirtie May Worthey on August 2, 1954 at Midwest City, OK. Bob graduated from Eldon High School in 1951. 

TSgt Bobby (Bob) F. Burnham was a Veteran of Korea and Vietnam Wars and served in the United State Air Force from 1952 to 1972. 

The Burnham’s moved several times, raising their children in Dennison, TX; Lee’s Summit, Mo; Okinawa; Columbus, OH; and then returning to Missouri and settling in Mt. Pleasant. He was a Phillips Funeral home Director in Eldon, MO.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a daily participant with the Morning Mobile coffee group for years.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bob is survived by one daughter Kimberly (Don Busken) Burnham of Jefferson City, MO, one son Kenneth (Teri) Burnham of Olean, MO, six grandchildren, Bobby Burnham of San Antonio, TX, Brendan (Meghan) Burnham of Shertz, TX, Daniel Britts (Gina Daquisto) of Glendale, AZ, Blain Burnham of Poole, England, Brittiany Burnham of San Antonio, TX and Kerra Wieberg (Katey Sanders) of Columbia, MO, five great granddaughters, Aubree, Rylan, Amelia, Addy and Elly Burnham, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

His parents, two sisters Doris Burnham and Bonnie Burnham Walls, a brother, William Burnham, a son, Kevin Lee Burnham and beloved 4 legged son, Boomer preceded him in death.

Visitation will be July 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be July 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Eldon, MO with Full Military Honors presented.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
