Sharon Ailene (Wood) Hawk

Sharon Ailene Hawk, 68, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at her residence in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born January 13, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of the late Eugene and Gloria Marcettus (Mercer) Wood.  On October 1, 2000 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Tim Hawk who survives of the home.

Children, Kelly Champion of Jefferson City, MO; Rebecca Cooper of Moab UT; Terri Williams (Arlton) of Eldon, MO; Tina Luttrell (Gary) of Eldon, MO; Danny Hawk (Violet) of Eldon, MO

Seven Grandchildren & Six Great Grandchildren

Sisters, Dianne Daniels (Phillip) of Warsaw, MO; Kathy Szewc (Paul) of Kansas City, KS

Brother, Derrill Wood (Dotty) of Warsaw, MO

Sharon was a born again Christian and a member of the Old Time Gospel Church of Eldon, MO where she played the piano.  Sharon was employed as a charge nurse for both Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, MO and Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, MO.  She was also employed with the Eldon School System as a substitute nurse and clerical help for the Tech School in Eldon until her retirement.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dale W. Stone officiating.  Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
