Ruth Erma Bailey, 82, of Richland, Missouri passed away with a smile on her face on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Richland Care Center in Richland, Missouri. She was born September 20, 1935 in Wood County, West Virginia the daughter of the late Harley David and Velma Florence (Utt) Travis. On June 8, 1957 in Green Spring, West Virginia she was united in marriage to Floyd Avery Bailey who survives of the home.

A grandson, Scott Randolph Bright, II, one sister, Jessie Evelyn Gillespie and four brothers, Luther Travis, Edward Travis, Merle Travis and Grant Travis preceded her in death.
Erma was a homemaker and loved reading and studying the Bible. She would play Bible games with her children as a way of helping them remember things in the Bible. One of her favorite pastimes was telling stories of her life as a child and sharing memories of special times with her grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Rev. Steve Domingue, Rev. John Dinwiddie & Rev. Calvin Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Big Rock Cemetery near Barnett, MO.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
