Russell “Butch” Tellman, 73, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born September 2, 1943 in Eugene, Missouri, the son of the late Frank and Cyrilla (Iven) Tellman.

Sons, John Tellman (Stefanie) of Columbia, MO; Todd Tellman (Erin) of Jefferson City, MO; Andrew Tellman (Lauren) of Bellingham, WA

Daughter, Nicole Doering (Chris) of Fenton, MO

Five Grandchildren, Rene, Emma, Seth, Hannah & Victoria

Siblings, Don Tellman (Mata) of Morgan City, LA; Roger Tellman of Eugene, MO; Mike Tellman (Joyce) of Normal, IL; Loretta “Candy” Colvin (Larry) of Washington, MO

He was formerly married to Linda Gean Bowers.

Four sisters, Jacqueline (Tellman) Newmann, Bonnie (Tellman) Newmann, Wanita (Tellman) Bublis & Mary Ellen Tellman, and two brothers, Paul Tellman & Charles “Chuck” Tellman preceded him in death.

He served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. VEGA during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO.  Butch was employed as a salesman for Vigortone Feeds and Woodman Engineering and was owner/operator of Tellman Enterprises in Eugene, MO.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO with a Prayer Service at 4:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.  Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church or the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, MO.
