Rudy Melvin Baughman

Rudy Melvin Baughman, 78, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Lake Regional Health Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born September 18, 1940 in Miller County, Missouri the son of the late Richard P. and Verne M. (Wibdowski) Baughman.  On July 4, 2003 in Cole County, Missouri he was united in marriage to Rebecca Ann (Boan) Martin who survives of the home.

Step Daughters, Elaine Lugrand (Kent) of Frisco, TX; Laura Branstetter (Jason) of Jefferson City, MO; Carol Branstetter (Scott) of Twinsburg, OH

Eleven Grandchildren, Jake, Vincent, Leah, Jade, Johnna(Micah), Luke, Olivia, Megan, Eli, Caleb & Isaac

Three Great Grandchildren, Mikayla, Matthew & Daniel

Brother, Richard Baughman (Karin) of Shelbyville, KY

Sisters, Susie Wright (Jim) of Rockwall, TX; Verenia Coldwell of Tyler, TX; Beth Fletcher (John) of San Angelo, TX

Sister in law, Elsie Baughman of Brownsville, TX

His first wife, Judy Cornett Stephens Baughman, and one brother, Roney Baughman preceded him in death.

Rudy served in the United States Army.  He attended Central Baptist Church of Jefferson City, MO.  Rudy was employed most of his life in the heating and air conditioning field and then retired with the department of corrections. 

Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Celebration of Life will be Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Andy Schmidt officiating.  Burial will follow at Dooley Cemetery near Eldon, MO.
