Rosanne (Kelsay) Sewell

Rosanne (Kelsay) Sewell, 97, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Good Shepherd Care Center of Versailles, Missouri.  She was born October 10, 1921 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of the late Adolphus and Myra (Nichol) Kelsay.  On April 24, 1943 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Ralph E. Sewell who preceded her in death on July 31, 1983.

Survivors include,

Grandson, Mark Sewell of Deltona, FL

Granddaughter, Melissa Mills, Tullahoma, TN

Two Great Grandchildren

Nephew, Don Gothard of Eldon, MO

Three Nieces

A son, Lieutenant Colonel James W. Sewell, and two brothers, Warren & Allen Kelsay preceded her in death.

Rosanne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO where she prepared funeral dinners for many years.  She was a fond supporter of many military veterans’ organizations.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tony English officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Program or the AMVETS.
