Rosa S. Jackson, 94, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Miller County Care Center in Tuscumbia, Missouri.  She was born August 5, 1922 in Miller County, Missouri the daughter of the late Frank and Jane (Burks) Schlesinger.  On September 16, 1938 in Carthage, Missouri she was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Jackson who preceded her in death on July 15, 1999.

Daughter, Annetta Rose “Jackie” Bray (Ellis) of Eldon, MO

Five Grandchildren; Seven Great Grandchildren & One Great Great Grandchild

Brother, Leber Schlesinger (Nadine) of Tucson, AZ

Several Nieces & Nephews

A daughter, Leotta Marie Stevens, two brothers, Carl & Klaugher Schlesinger, and three sisters, Lena Farley, Olive Shipley & Ruth Scrivner preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO and a former member of the Mt. Zion Church of Tuscumbia, MO. She belonged to the square dancing club and the Eldon VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting as a hobby.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Worstell officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Miller County Care Center or Hospice Compassus.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
