Neal A. Stephens

Neal A. Stephens, 82, of Stover, Missouri passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at his residence in Stover, Missouri.  He was born August 30, 1936 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late Willard “Poker” and Ruth (Garrett) Stephens.  On June 24, 1989 in Fort Worth, Texas he was united in marriage to Cyndy (Dahl) Stephens who survives of the home.

Son, Neal Stephens, Jr. (Lesleigh) of Highland Village, TX

Four Grandchildren, David Wallace (Marie) of Ormond Beach, FL; Cathy McMillin (Marc) of Hulen, TX; Rachel Lopez (Jorge) of Charleston, SC; Natalie Jurcic (Ivan) of Suarita, AZ; Nicholas Bobotas of Highland Village, TX

Eight Great Grandchildren

Brothers, Bill Stephens (Linda) of Edgerton, KS; Leo Stephens (Sharon) of Desoto, KS; Carl Stephens (Judy) of Kearney, MO

A daughter, Joy Lynn Stephens, a granddaughter, Joy Lynn McClung, a step son, Michael Kimborough, a brother, Jim Stephens, and one sister, Judy Stephens preceded him in death.

Neal was employed as an electrical engineer in the aerospace field for twenty-five years.  He was an avid golfer.

A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Private Family Interment to be held at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the National Lupus Foundation.
