Michael “Shorty” Cornett, 67, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born May 9, 1949 in Boonville, Missouri the son of the late Claude and Patricia (Washburn) Cornett.  On August 18, 1973 in Aurora Springs, Missouri he was united in marriage to Rhonda (Hoffner) Cornett who survives of the home.

A sister, Deborah Cornett preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Eldon City Cemetery with Pastor Trevor Hayes officiating. 

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
