Maxine (Newkirk) Haynes

Maxine Haynes, 92, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born October 7, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of the late Napoleon H. and Evelyn E. (Steiner) Newkirk. 

Maxine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.  She was employed as a bookkeeper for Ameren UE formerly Union Electric and also owned and operated an antique store in Eldon for many years.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Rev. David White officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.
