Malinda (Hauenstein-Sanders) James, 74, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born July 9, 1943 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of the late Ronald E. and Ruby Sarah (Taylor) James.

Daughters, Malissa Geiser (John) of Jefferson City, MO; Machelle Koetting (Dennis) of Henley, MO

Grandchildren, Malayna & Levi Koetting and Honorary Granddaughter, Mattie Lindsay

Sisters, Shirley Gassoway (Carl) of Granite Shoals, TX; Irene Brown of San Bernardino, CA; Sharon Vaughan (Charles) of Eldon, MO; Karon Boothe (John) of North Carolina

A sister, Maxine Stover preceded her in death.

Malinda attended the First Assembly of God Church in Jefferson City, MO.  She enjoyed researching genealogy.  She attended Show Me Clowns of Roach, MO and was a member of the Kingdom Clowns.

Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lohman, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
