Mable Curry Obituary

Mable Curry, 100, of Maryville, Illinois formerly of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Manor Court of Maryville, Illinois. She was born September 28, 1918 in Granite City, Illinois the daughter of the late Oliver and Bertha (Abbott) Ramsey.  On November 9, 1935 in Tuscumbia, Missouri she was united in marriage to Harold Curry who preceded her in death on March 22, 1995.

 

Survivors include,

 

Son, Finnis Curry (Linda) of Collinsville, IL

 

Seven Grandchildren & Twenty Great Grandchildren

 

Three Foster Grandchildren; Six Foster Great Grandchildren & Thirteen Foster Great Great Grandchildren

 

Preceding her are, sons, Wayne & Oliver Curry, an infant daughter, Katherine Joyce Curry, grandson, Richard Curry, granddaughter, Amanda Curry, sister, Juanita Flaugher, foster son, Willian Kessler, and foster great granddaughter, Amanda (Kessler) Stokes

 

Mable lived and farmed in the Tuscumbia area sixteen years prior to moving to Illinois.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church of Tuscumbia, MO.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Rev. Mark Kessler officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Tuscumbia, MO.

 

Memorials in her name are suggested to Mt. Zion Christian Church.
