Louise (Jeffries) Thorson

Louise Thorson, 82, of Olean, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born August 23, 1937 in Brumley, Missouri the daughter of the late Virgil and Cecil Jeffries.  On April 18, 1961 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert Thorson who preceded her in death on September 28, 2011.

Daughter, Lisa Papen (Kent) of California, MO

Son, Michael Thorson (Connie) of Eldon, MO

Daughter, Gina Barnhart (Gene) of Olean, MO

Brothers, Donald Gene Jeffries, Jerry Jeffries, Dennis Jeffries, & Lester Jeffries

Sisters, Erma Lee Byrd & Faye Burks

Nine Grandchildren & Thirteen Great Grandchildren

Two brothers, Tim & Laverne, and three sisters, Ruthie, Nelda & Lucille preceded her in death.

Louise was active with the Spring Garden 4-H and was a member of the Olean Cemetery Board.  She enjoyed cake decorating, gardening and antiquing. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Her body has been cremated and Private Family Interment will be held at the Olean Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Olean Cemetery.
