Loretta Mae (Morris) Golden Leffert

Loretta Mae (Morris) Golden Leffert, 92 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born June 10, 1927 in Eldon, Missouri the daughter of the late James Jackson Morris and Mathilda “Tillie” Morris Cathcart.  On January 12, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas she was united in marriage to George Gail Golden who preceded her on March 18, 1993.  She then wed John Riley Leffert, Sr. on October 11, 1998 in Eldon, Missouri; he preceded her on August 18, 2007.

She was mother to,

Sons, Larry Gail Golden (deceased) & wife Venie; George Edward Golden & wife Cathy (deceased); Billy Gene Golden & wife Lora all of Eldon, MO; Robert Leroy Golden & wife Sherry of Jefferson City, MO

Step Sons, John R. Leffert, Jr. & wife Debbie; William Dale Leffert & Ann Imhoff of Eldon, MO; Larry Leffert (deceased) & wife Janis Leffert of Jefferson City, MO

Twenty-six Grandchildren & Twenty-four Great Grandchildren

Half Brothers, James William Morris & David Lee Morris

Loretta was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, MO.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM also at Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Hospice Compassus or Eldon Meals On Wheels.
