Lewis Croy, 84, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born January 2, 1933 in Jameson, Missouri the son of the late Omer and Corabelle (Carter) Croy.  On January 14, 1952 in Gallatin, Missouri he was united in marriage to Frances (Duffey) Croy who survives of the home.

Three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Lewis was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church of Eldon, MO.  He was a herdsman and manager for many dairy farms for fifty years.  He then was employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections for six years until his retirement.  He was active in the Jameson Lion’s Club for several years.  After his retirement, he and Frances enjoyed traveling and visited all fifty states.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Eldon United Methodist Church with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve George officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Heart Association.
