Larry Duncan

Larry Duncan, 77, of Barnett, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born May 13, 1941 in Etterville, Missouri, the son of the late Press and Sarah (Workman) Duncan.  On January 27, 1962 in High Point, Missouri he was united in marriage to JoAnna Mae (Reynolds) Duncan who survives of the home.

Sister in law, Joyce Duncan of Barnett, MO

Brother in law, Charles Reynolds (Rhonda)

Numerous Nieces and Nephews

A sister, Mildred Clark, brothers, Gary Duncan and Donald Duncan, one brother in law and three sisters in law preceded him in death.

Larry was employed for various construction companies and for MODOT from 1970-1995 until his retirement. He then worked for the Barnett Road District.  He was a member and servant at the High Point Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  He loved raising cattle and taking great care of his farm animals.  Larry was an avid coon, rabbit and squirrel hunter.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM at High Point Baptist Church of High Point, MO with Pastor Glen Golden officiating.  Interment will follow at High Point Cemetery.  Memorials in his name are suggested to High Point Baptist Church or Hospice Compassus.
