Kenneth Wayne Ancell

Kenneth Wayne Ancell, 77, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at his residence in Eldon, Missouri.  He was born November 1, 1940 in Sturgeon, Missouri the son of the late Chester and Elsie (Montgomery) Ancell.  On September 3, 1965 in Columbia, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sherrie Ann (Ellis) Ancell who preceded him in death on July 3, 2014.

Survivors include,

Daughter, Wendie Comer (Bob) of Eldon, MO

Sons, Chuck Ancell (Kathy) of Washington, MO; Tony Ancell (Cheryl) of Eldon, MO

Six Grandchildren, Patrick Comer, Olivia Ancell, Lauren Ancell, Sam Ancell, Grace Ancell & Katie Ancell

One Great Grandchild, Cruz Comer

A grandson, Brent Comer preceded him in death.

Kenneth served in the United States Air Force.  He was employed with UPS for thirty years until his retirement and then with the Eldon School District as a bus driver for several years.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and farming.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
