Jean Mongold, 88, of Richmond, Missouri formerly of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab in Richmond, Missouri.  She was born July 27, 1929 in Carollton, Missouri the daughter of the late Rueben and Francis (Chandler) Winfrey.  On May 18, 1979 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Willard Harold Mongold who preceded her in death on January 13, 2009.

A Great Granddaughter, Lola Alley and a Great Grandson, Levi Alley preceded her in death.

Jean was employed as an office manager in several doctor’s offices throughout her life where she received awards for her work and spoke at conventions.  She served with her husband at the VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, MO.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charlie Worstell officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tuscumbia Cemetery in Tuscumbia, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
