James "Jim" L. Phillips

James “Jim” L. Phillips, 78 of Olean, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home in Olean, Missouri.  He was born December 6, 1940 in St. Louis County the son of the late Lehman and Effie Arlena (Ray) Phillips.  On July 10, 1960 in Ellensburg, Washington he was united in marriage to Linda (Garroutte) Phillips who survives of the home.

Daughter, Cindy Hagerman (Debbie Floyd) of Ackerly, TX

Son, Shannon Phillips, Sr. of Olean, MO

Daughter, Teresa Sexton (Herbert Tremaine) of Jefferson City, MO

Four Grandchildren, Shannon Phillips, Jr., Jalin Bolinger (Clint), Stevie Morris (Robert) and Zach Phillips

Five Great Grandchildren

A son in law, Billy Sexton, two sisters, Wanda Duncan & Ruth Emery and one brother, David Phillips preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Mason’s.  Jim was known by all.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery.
