Gene VanDyke

Gene VanDyke, 91, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his residence in Eldon, Missouri.  He was born June 18, 1928 in Brookfield, Missouri the son of the late James Earl and Helen (Tysor) VanDyke.  In September 5, 1964 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Shirley (Schupp) VanDyke who preceded him in death on February 21, 2000.

Survivors include,

Children, David Earl VanDyke (Rita) of Iberia, MO; Valerie Washam (Bill) of Laclede, MO; Denise Rogers (Ronnie) of Eldon, MO

Nine Grandchildren & Fifteen Great Grandchildren

A son, Andrew J. VanDyke and one sister, Joyce Brusca preceded him in death.

Gene served in the United States Navy and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Union.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and services will be planned at a later date.  A Private Family Burial will be held at Blue Springs Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
