Earnest Lee Glasscock, 77 of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his residence.  He was born September 19, 1939 in Bisbee, Arizona, the son of the late Commie and Helen (Jackson) Glasscock.  On September 16, 1960 in Arbyrd, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Johnson) Glasscock who survives.

His sister, Claudia Daniels his brothers, Vernon Glasscock & Lonnie Joe Glasscock Preceded him in death.

Earnest was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.  He retired as an A&P Hydraulic Aviation Inspector for AVMATS, St. Louis, MO.  He loved being retired and living at Lake of the Ozarks, living in the home he and his wife built together from the ground up.  His greatest joy was having his children & grandchildren come visit him at the lake.  He always said “I love to sit and watch the lake evaporate.”  He was a man with a “Heart of Gold” who never knew a stranger.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
