Dolores Faye Benfer, 82, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Lakeside Meadows in Lake Ozark, Missouri.  She was born October 30, 1934 in Sheldon, Missouri, the daughter of the late Earl and Gladys (Mann) Hutchison.  She was united in marriage to Vernon Ray Landon in 1953 and to this union three children were born, Deborah Faye Landon of Eldon, MO, Reba Rolena Landon of Lake Ozark, MO and Russell Eugene Landon of Barnett, MO.  She was united in marriage to Kenneth Benfer in 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Eight Grandchildren, Cornelia Williams (Mark), Christy Eads (Chris), Freddie Eads (Susan), Steve Wickam (Jackie), Shannon Jones (Louis), Rachael Landon, Robin Landon & Morgan Landon

Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Sebastian, Eli, Scarlett, Ava, Kylee, Darian, Dustin, Patreauna, Patrick, Dalton, Omri, Ann Marie & Erin

One Great Great Granddaughter, Iris

She was employed with the Missouri Bowling Association and taught youth bowling and was also employed with FASCO Industries for twenty-eight years.  Mom loved working in her yard, her flowers, her pets and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoyed living on the Lake, swimming, fishing and boating.  She was a member of a Red Hat Group, “Red Hot Foxy Ya Ya’s.” 

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM.  Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
