David Ward

David Ward, 66, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri due to injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  He was born February 8, 1953 in Houston, Texas the son of Robert “Bob” and Ruth (Sullins) Ward.  On October 6, 1974 in Springfield, Missouri he was united in marriage to Rene (Aspelmeier) Ward who survives of the home.

Father, Bob Ward of Eldon, MO

Sister, Kim Knopf (Mike) of Eldon, MO

Two Nieces, Maggie Wilson (Adam) of Foristell, MO; Abbie Knopf of Ottawa, Canada

Two Nephews, Jeffery Aspelmeier (Kim) of Radford, VA; Mark Grundy (Karen) of Columbia, MO

Brother in law, Monte Aspelmeier (Linda) of Springfield, MO

His mother, Ruth Ward and an uncle, Jim Ward preceded him in death.

David was a member of the Friends of Animals, Eldon, MO; he enjoyed golf with his friends, and treasured his granddaughters.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Interment will be private for the family.
