David J. Hendricks passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, surrounded by family and hospice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.
Services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-Day Saints in Jefferson City, MO
David was born May 29, 1953 in San Bernardino, CA. He graduated in 1971 in Bonita High School.
On April 17, 1981 he married Nancy Lea Cuthbert at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.
He was a volunteer firefighter in Garrison, IA. He loved to hunt with his buddies in Emmetsburg, IA, and fish with his son and grandsons.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of 37 years, his son Jarrod (Shawna), his son Travis (Daniel). He has one sister, Cori Shillam of Ainsworth, NE, and his best friend, Rick Knudson of Arizona and Emmetsburg. He had two nieces, Kamala and Vanessa and two nephews, Santiago and Kenneth, and three grandchildren, Grant, Grayson, and Gwyn.
He is preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
