Charles I. "Charlie" Miller

Charles I. “Charlie” Miller, 55, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home near Eldon, Missouri.  He was born February 24, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of the late James Stanley and Donna Jean (Farmer) Miller.

An infant sister, Rea Jean Miller preceded him in death. 

Charlie was a graduate of the class of 1981 of Eldon High School.  Shortly after graduating he enlisted in the United States Navy serving from 1982 – 1992.  He was then employed as a plumber and became an over the road trucker.   He eventually purchased his own truck, driving throughout the United States until his health forced him to retire in 2017.  Charlie’s greatest joy was to spend time with his children and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Full Military Honors will be presented immediately following at Phillips Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Compassus.
