"Cassie" Kathleen (Higgins) Lasson

“Cassie” Kathleen (Higgins) Lasson, 76, of Eldon, Missouri passed away peacefully with family on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida.  She was born September 28, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Dowd) Higgins. 

Survivors include:

Children, John Lasson (Nancy) of Vernon Hills, IL; Margaret “Peggy” Cibulka (Jim) of Naperville, IL; Michael Lasson (Michelle) of Eldon, MO; Barbara Richmond (Tim) of Plainfield, IL

Thirteen Grandchildren, Maddi, Nikki & Jack Lasson; Patrick & Joe Cibulka; Krystopher (Megan), Andrew (Samantha) & Becca Lasson; Kristina & Amber Baumgart; Dareth Armstrong; Matt & Marissa Richmond

Six Great Grandchildren, Easton, Hudson & Raegan Lasson; Kayden & Harper Lasson; Eli Barnes

A sister, Margaret Coughlin and a great granddaughter, Kloe Marie Crook preceded her in death.

“Cassie” was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO.  She was employed as a substitute teacher with the Eldon and Camdenton School Districts and also a teacher’s assistant with special needs children.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who adored and always spoke of her family.      

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Prayer Service to be held at 3:00 PM with Deacon Chet Zuck officiating.

Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
