Bonnie (Bowen) Vore

Bonnie L. Vore, 56, of Eldon, Missouri, formerly of Vermont, Illinois, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on November 20, 2018 at her home.  She was born on October 15, 1962 in Vermont, Illinois the daughter of the late Thomas and Norma (Parr) Bowen.  She married Joseph Gossage on February 14, 1980 in Industry, Illinois.  Joseph preceded Bonnie in death on November 21, 2007.  She married Harold Vore on March 10, 2017 in Eldon, Missouri who survives of the home.    

Also surviving are her two children, Joey (Amy) Gossage of Colchester, Illinois, and Sarah (Paul) Otto of Aurora, Colorado, 5 grandchildren Ethan, Isaac, Elizabeth, David, and Eli, 2 brothers Robert Bowen of Branson, Missouri, and David (Ellen) Bowen of Fairfield, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews. 

Bonnie was a homemaker and was a member of New Life Family Church.  She was of the Christian faith, and on December 9, 1989 was baptized in her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the Vermont Christian Church. 

Her body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Barnett, MO. with Rev. Jesse Montgomery officiating.    

Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery in Browning, Illinois at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
