Betty Ruth (Harrison) George, 85, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born September 10, 1931 in Lake City, Iowa the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Ruth Vanita (Larkins) Harrison.  She was united in marriage on January 24, 1954 to Russell Moore George in Berkeley, California.  He preceded her in death on December 6, 1999.

Daughters, Christine Beauchamp (Loran) of Eldon, MO; Colleen McGirl (Marty) of Eldon, MO; Nancy Wilson (Brad) of New Mexico; Marcella Groce (Joseph) of Olean, MO

Son, Ward George of Eldon, MO

Thirteen Grandchildren & Nine Great Grandchildren

Betty was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Chris Reynolds, Minister officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Eldon, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
