Alana Miner, 57, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at her residence near Eldon, Missouri.  She was born August 25, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Barbara Jean (Cooper) Haney.  On March 23, 1983 in North Platte, Nebraska she was united in marriage to Lucian Frank Miner who survives of the home.

Alana was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lake Ozark Ward and of the Missouri Art Educators Association.  She was employed as an art teacher with School of the Osage for eighteen years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1168 Hwy. KK  in Osage Beach, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:00 PM with Bishop Emery Evans conducting.  Burial will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rutherford Cemetery in Prairie Grove, AR.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Visual Arts for School of the Osage.
