John Harenza

John Harenza, 91 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born March 26, 1933 in La Porte, Indiana the son of the late John Harenza, Sr. and Anna (Jasinski) Harenza.  On September 20, 1957 in Eldridge, Missouri he was united in marriage to Violet Lorretta (Waterman) Harenza who preceded him in death on January 30, 2015.

Survivors include,

Sons, Mike Harenza (Jackie) of Addison, TX; Matt Harenza (Theresa) of Carthage, MO; Mark Harenza (Sheri) of Eldon, MO

Grandchildren, Jessica Harenza, Regan Harenza (Venkat), Jeremiah Harenza (Jenny), Madison Harenza (significant other, John) & Macy Prather

Four Great-Grandchildren

Siblings, Sharon Windsor (Ed) of Lebanon, MO; Richard Harenza of Raliegh, MS

Several Nieces & Nephews

Two sisters, Lucy Middleton & Lorrine DeCoursey, and one grandson, Matthew Harenza preceded him in death.

John was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Tim Humphrey officiating.  Burial will follow at Hufft Cemetery, 16623 Kansas Road, Eldridge, MO 65463.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO.
