Bernard Evers

Bernard Evers, 89 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Good Shephard Care Center in Versailles, Missouri.  He was born October 18, 1934 in Mary’s Home, Missouri the son of the late Conrad and Anna (Kirkweg) Evers.  On May 29, 1954 in Mary’s Home, Missouri he was united in marriage to Elizabeth (Sanning) Evers who survives of the home.

Children, Gary Evers (Donna) of Dacula, GA; Curtis Evers (Valerie) of Eldon, MO; Angela Montavy of Eldon, MO

Grandchildren, Kyle Evers, Natasha Montavy, Corey Montavy, Ryan Evers, Melissa Foster (David) and Amy Evers

Great-Grandchild, Jane Foster

Siblings, Fred Evers (Margaret Ann) of Mary’s Home, MO; Anna Marie Braun (Dave) of Osage Bend, MO; Sylvester Evers (Carol) of Mary’s Home, MO

Along with his parents, siblings, Ilde Evers (Anita) and Martina Goeller (Ben) preceded him in death.

Bernard was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO, the Knights of Columbus, and the AM Vets 108.  He also served as Commissioner of Miller County.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Alexius Ekka officiating.  Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery of Mary’s Home, MO.
