Anton "Tony" Luetkemeyer Obituary

Anton “Tony” Henry Luetkemeyer, 88, of Eldon, MO, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 15, 2024.  He was born August 4, 1935 in Tuscumbia, MO to the late Ben and Lucy (Oligschlaeger) Luetkemeyer.   Tony was the beloved husband of the late Marcella (Kirkweg) Luetkemeyer for 60 years.

He was the devoted father of Terry (Denise) Luetkemeyer, Vicki (John) Meyer, Paul Luetkemeyer, & Mark (Dawn) Luetkemeyer.

Loving grandpa to Tony (Lucinda), Katy (Nate), Angela (Dustin), Whitney (Joe), Stacie (Danny), Nick, Owen (Miranda), Claire, Adam & Abby

Treasured great-grandpa to Maddy, Gavin, Everett, Emry, Hudson, Quinn & Beau

Tony is survived by his 3 brothers: Dick, Pat & Mike, 4 sisters: Carolyn, Janice, Kathy & Julie, many nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.

Tony was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, he also enjoyed spending time at the farm in Tuscumbia deer hunting, tending to his tomato patch, playing cards & dominoes with family & friends.  He also loved sharing stories over a cold beer (or 2) at Camp Busche.

Tony was a hard-working, fun-loving, one of a kind that will never be replaced.  He was dearly loved & will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth, MO with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM.  Lunch will be served at the St. Elizabeth Community Center immediately following the Mass.

Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Lawrence Catholic Church 246 Main St. St. Elizabeth, MO 65075
