Willa Morrison Branstetter Obituary

Willa Morrison Branstetter, 71, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Missouri.  She was born October 1, 1946 in Rogersville, Missouri the daughter of the late David Norman and Viola May (Porter) Adams. 

Survivors include,

Former Husband & Companion, Bert Branstetter of Eldon, MO

Daughter, Sandy Atwell of Olean, MO

Son, Jerry Wayne Morrison & Fiance’ Joy Brewer, of Sunrise Beach, MO

Step Daughter, Kelly Branstetter of Columbia, MO

Grandchildren, Bryan Atwell of Olean, MO & Halla Atwell of Springfield, MO

Great Granddaughter, Kendra Michelle Atwell

Brother & Sister in law, Jerry & Kay Adams of Tipton, MO

Former Husband and Father of her children, Jerry “Punky” Morrison of Versailles, MO

Brother in law, Harold “Snuffy” Melton of Ozark, MO

Five Nephews & Two Nieces

A brother, Doyle Adams and one sister, Judy Melton preceded her in death.

Willa was a 1965 graduate of Tipton High School and of Fran Nash’s Sedalia School of Hairdressing.  She was employed with Kansas City Bifocal Company of Versailles, MO.  She was owner/operator of Hairworks, Etc for ten years and then retired after her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in 1988 to raise cattle and bottle calves with Bert until 2013.  She loved her family, all animals, music and the farm.

A Celebration of Life for Willa will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the MS Society or the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
