Robert Leland White, 91, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Missouri University Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. He was born July 26, 1925 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of the late Robert Clarence and Vertie May (Houser) White.  On August 22, 1953 in Eldon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mary (Golden) White who survives at the home.

Fourteen Great Grandchildren & One Great Great Grandson

Sister, Nancy Keeth of Rolla, MO

One brother, Earl White preceded him in death.

Robert served in the United States Army during World War II where he received a Bronze Star.  He loved playing music and once had his own radio music show and was a member of the Green Valley Trio.  He was a devoted family man and an avid fisherman and hunter.

Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 PM with Brother Tim Hawk officiating.  Interment will follow at Dooley Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the Eldon VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, MO.

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
