Richard H. Phelps, 80, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born June 29, 1937 in Centralia, Missouri the son of the late Roy S. and Arvella (Shanks) Phelps.  On June 23, 1993 in Alma, Missouri he was united in marriage to Ollie (Ziegler) Phelps who survives of the home.

Sons, Richard L. Phelps (Christine) of Eldon, MO; John R. Phelps (Jeannie) of Eldon, MO; Michael B. Phelps (Lily) of Arnold, MO; George O. Tucker of Tuscumbia, MO; Tom Tucker (Amanda) of Sullivan, MO

Daughter, Sheila Lyles (Bob) of Eldon, MO

Twenty Grandchildren, Twenty-nine Great Grandchildren & Seven Great Great Grandchildren

Brother, Sherwood Phelps (Theresa) of Jefferson City, MO

Sister, Shirley McVeigh of Fulton, MO

A son, Mark Tucker and one grandson, Jason Tucker preceded him in death.   

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Tuscumbia Park in Tuscumbia, Missouri. 

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
