Maxine Barnes, 88, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at her residence near Eldon, Missouri.  She was born September 25, 1928 in Dixon, Missouri, the daughter of the late Willie and Della (Denton) Davis.  On October 17, 1951 in Lebanon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Millard Emerson Barnes who preceded her in death on September 18, 1998.

Sons, Jack Thomure  of St. Louis, MO; Millard Emerson Barnes, Jr.  of Mexico, MO; Thomas Winford Barnes  of Eldon, MO; Donald Marston  of Barnett, MO  

Daughter, Sissy Diana Barnes of Barnett, MO

Eight Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren

Brother, Jackie Wayne Davis, St. Louis, MO

Three Brothers and one Sister preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Bob Hoskins officiating.  Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
