Carolyn, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. She was truly blessed to live so long. But, it's never long enough for us. No matter how old, the thought of losing our cherished loved ones saddens us, because God put eternity into our hearts. Ecclesiastes 3:11. We have a sure hope that he's going to bring our loved ones, like Maxine, back to life soon. John 5:28,29. May this hope comfort you.

Carolyn, I am so sorry to hear of your precious Mother's passing. I will miss seeing her at the store. I've always enjoyed visiting with you "girls."

Dear Barker family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Maxine . Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
