Martha Bashore, 80, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 surrounded by her family at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  She was born April 11, 1937 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Aubra and Flossie (Livingston) Vernon.  On July 2, 1951 she was united in marriage to Glen Edward “Corkey” Bashore who preceded her in death on June 4, 2011.

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Her step mother, Tressie, two brothers and seven sisters preceded her in death.

Martha was a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church.  She retired from the postal service as a rural mail carrier and operated the Eldon License Bureau for many years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM also at Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Donor’s Choice or In Care of the Family.
