I didn't personally know Larry himself, but I've been a friend of the family for a while. He must have been a good man, because he left one great legacy.

Just remembering the guy who ball, fishing, and having fun with friends and family. Our family will always remember Larry and Verlyn "frog gigging," followed by trying to fry jumping frog legs. I think that one of the guys left a nerve or something in the frog leg, so that when Venie tried to fry it, it jumped out of the pan. Many good memories of an awesome man, that we will miss so much.

With many tears, I am posting this message. It is so sad to lose a great guy. He had a great sense of humor. He sure loved his family. He adored his pretty wife. Maybe, Larry and Verlyn are thinking of fishing up in heaven right now? I just know that Eldon, Missouri will not be the same without him. Hang in there tough, Venie and the boys!
Keep his wonderful memories alive forever.
