Larry Gail Golden, 70, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Ozark Rehab in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born March 15, 1947 in Eldon, Missouri, the son of George Gail and Loretta (Morris) Golden.  On June 26, 1971 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Venie (Schlup) Golden who survives of the home.

Sons, Richard Golden (Monica) of Jefferson City, MO; Mark Golden (Erica) of Jefferson City, MO; Charles Golden of Camdenton, MO

Eight Grandchildren, David Gail, Claudia Leigh, Caroline Mae, Dylan Ray & Brooke Suellyn Golden, Jennifer, Jessica & Patricia Reagan

Mother, Loretta Golden Leffert of Eldon, MO

Three Brothers, Robert Golden (Sherry) of Baldwin City, KS; George Golden (Cathy) of Eldon, MO; Bill Golden (Lora) of Eldon, MO

His father, Gail Golden preceded him in death.

Larry was a 1965 graduate of Eldon High School.  He served in the United States Army from 1967 – 1969.  He was a board member of the Eldon Senior Center and of the Boy Scouts for eleven years.  Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, the St. Louis Cardinals.  He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home with Shane Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to Larry’s favorite charities In Care of the Family.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
