Joe Prater, 86, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his residence near Eldon, Missouri. He was born October 28, 1931 in Iberia, Missouri the son of the late Eva (Wilson) Prater. On May 9, 1994 in Harrison, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Sue (Moyer) Prater who survives of the home.

His first wife, Betty Prater and a grandchild preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
