Lee Graves, 68, of Eldon died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home.

Lee was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, son of Harry & Irma (Parks) Graves.

On October 10, 1987 he married Anne (Hill) Graves and to this union four beautiful children were born.  They are Clair Graves of Eldon, Clinton Graves of Springfield, Brooke Graves of Columbia & Lauren Graves of Springfield.

He is also survived by two uncles, Raymond (Mary) Graves & Tom (Nancy) Graves, his nephews, nieces & many cousins.  His father, mother & brother, Daniel Graves preceded him in death.

Lee grew up in Kansas City & was an avid Royals fan.  He did two tours in Vietnam & after returning to the States, spent 12 years working in Alaska where he retired from the Operating Engineers in 1986.  Moving back to Missouri, he purchased the farm in Ulman where he came to visit his grandparents as a boy.  It was when opening his account at Mercantile Bank that he met his wife, Anne & soon after had the family he had always desired.  Lee was saved on August 10, 2005 at about 3:00 in the morning, standing on the front porch of his home.  He said the Lord just reached down & wrapped him in warmth & it was an experience he would never forget.
