Corene Burks, 76, of Tuscumbia, Missouri formerly of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at Miller County Care and Rehab.  She was born May 23, 1941 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Clay and Vesta (Clark) May.  In 1963 in Tuscumbia, Missouri she was united in marriage to Bobby Ray Burks who preceded her in death in October of 1998. 

Survivors include,

Her five children; Vincent Randolph Schuster of Florida; Bobbie (Burks) Bradshaw, Darryl Burks, and twins Tim Burks & Gene Barnhart all of Eldon, MO

Her three brothers, Earl “Sach” May of Eldon, MO; Bearl “Biggin” May of Doniphan, MO; Willard “Buzz” May of Eastman, GA

And she has many grandchildren & great grandchildren

A son, Luckie Ray Burks, three grandchildren, Nick Burks, Josh Burks & Tori Jones, and one brother, Mearl “Bate” May preceded her in death.

Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Per her wishes her body has been cremated and private family interment will be held at the Eldon City Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
