Betty (Cartner) Harbison Setser, 84, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born March 12, 1932 in High Point, Missouri, the daughter of the late James Leon and Leona M. (Gier) Cartner.  On November 16, 1952 in Olean, Missouri she was united in marriage to Bill L. Harbison who preceded her in death on June 17, 1994.  She then wed Chester W. Setser on April 18, 1997 in Eldon, Missouri and he survives of the home.

Daughters & Son in law, Deborah & John Leffert of Eldon, MO; Jan Harbison of Jefferson City, MO

Step Son, Gregory Setser of Webb City, MO

Step Daughter & Step Son in law, Yvonne & Joe Vitosky of Urbana, IL

Six Grandchildren, Four Step Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren & Two Step Great Grandchildren

Sister & Brother in law, Patricia & Tom Darnell of Anaconda, MT

Several Nieces & One Nephew

One brother, Bob Cartner preceded her in death.

Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO and a lifetime member of the Eldon VFW Post #2442 Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a past member of P.E.O., the Eldon Lion’s Club and the Eldon Golf Club.

Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO with Rev. David White officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
